Holiday Inn & Suites Jefferson City, an IHG Hotel

If I could give -10 stars I would. Customers BEWARE!! My husband and I stayed for one night in this hotel while our plumbing was getting worked on, later that evening we went down to the pool because the hot tub was out of order. My husband went back to our room to grab something and got stuck in the elevator. He waited for over 45 minutes for someone to get him out. The hotel staff did not want to be bothered with helping him so they called an outside source to get him out. Mind you he was stuck in between two floors and the man they called reeked of marijuana and told my husband that this elevator gets stuck often and is a reoccurring issue while he was pulling my husband out. We woke up with a receipt under our door being told that our night was free because of this when we went to bring the receipt to the front desk. We decided to stay another night because of this, when we woke up the next day we had another receipt showing us a credit for our nights at the hotel. I went down to talk to the front staff and was told that this was also another credit back to us. Then I was told that the charges would be dropped within a few days. I called back on Wednesday because they were still on my account, I was told again by the front staff that charges were dropped on their end and to call my bank. Called my bank and I had a debit to my account, then I called the hotel manager and she laughed and said they never gave us free nights even though her staff told us that. They are now refusing to drop the charges even though we were promised that they would and I have not gotten a call Back from the owner. This hotel is extremely shady and will charge your card and lie to your face. Their staff is also high reek or marijuana while telling us that they have issues with people getting stuck in their elevator often. This hotel is very shady and please go somewhere else before you get seriously injured or have non authorized charges on your card. I am seeking legal action.

A beautiful hotel! I thought it was brand new due to the pristine condition and appearance, but it's 3 years old...still relatively new. The care and attention to the entire hotel is evident. Super clean, spacious, efficient, accommodating, and comfortable!!! All the staff are professional, cheerful, and friendly. 😊 The rooms are fantastic with outstanding window coverings, linens, pillows, towels, bathroom amenities, and wonderful coffee!! Without a doubt, Holiday Inn has upped their game with this hotel!! Totally consistent with the high bar of quality we've come to appreciate with Holiday Inn!! 😁
